The best way ahead is for survivors to stay connected with their advocates, get the right guidance, and most important, keep their cool while exercising necessary health precautions.
With the nation's entire health machinery focused on containing the pandemic, state resources will necessarily be less vigilant and concerned about cases of domestic abuse. The onus is on the social service agencies to do their most, guiding their clients on the helpline.
