DC metro-area’s first South Asian domestic violence organization turns 20
ASHA for Women (ASHA)—the Washington-metro area’s oldest domestic violence organization for South Asians—will host a gala dinner to celebrate 20 years of working with families and service providers to create abuse-free homes. In addition to ASHA officers, clients, and volunteers, we will be joined by members of the legal, business, and policy communities, who have been instrumental in advancing the domestic abuse prevention cause.
