As an apology of continuing with the same theme as the last two blog posts, one can only say this year-ending one can’t be denied! It merits a celebration. The importance given to TIME magazine’s selection of Person of the Year is legendary and we ourselves are humbled at the selection: The Silence Breakers, the women – and men – who have shaken society this year with their courage.
You don’t need to be 'nice'.
Abuse has many patterns and nuances in the public sphere as well as what happens in homes. Sometimes you may not fully understand you are being humiliated, or that the physical abuse is anything extraordinary. You may think it is acceptable, but feel demolished as a person. It helps to talk. It helps to express your confusion and your anguish with a person, who, in total confidence, can help you clear your thoughts and suspicions.
